Horse & Rider B&B Holiday in Wales

Take your own horse on holiday in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Mid Wales, trail riding, riding the 4 day Brecon Beacons and Radnor Loop, or petal rides in the Black Mountains .

Finding The Wern B&B for Horse and Rider

Coming from the west follow the A40 in the direction of Abergavenny. Take the first exit off the A40 past Brecon, signposted Llanfrynach and Llangorse. Follow the road to Llangorse and you come to our village. As the road enters the village, do not take the first right hand turn towards Talyllyn. Turn sharp right down the dead end road. Follow this for almost a mile, past the old railway (Crossing House), and then a pair of white houses, (Ty Cae Derwen and Oakfield).

The Wern Horse B&B is 50 metres ahead.

With a horse box traveling from the east follow the A40 to Bwlch, turn right onto the B4560 to Llangorse. In Llangorse turn left at the bus shelter signposted Brecon. Follow this road to Llanfihangel Talyllyn. About 100 metres past the village hall turn left down the dead end lane as described above.

The Wern B&B for Horse and Rider is away from any major roads and offers a tranquil setting with a view across Llangorse Lake to the Black Mountains.

How to get to the horse B&B

We appreciate that being out on your horse is the reason for your stay, but just in case you are saddle sore and need a rest day, the Beacons bus service is available. This service brings you to and takes you around the National park throughout the summer.
