Terms of Business

 

We take bookings for accommodation for you and your group, and grazing or D.I.Y. stabling for your horses, and in the case of longer stays providing appropriate written and mapped, suggested route guides.

 

We accept holiday bookings on condition that all riders and horses in the party are adequately insured against third party risk, and that horses have been properly wormed. Any vehicles should also be insured against third party liabilities and are parked on the premises at the owner’s own risk.

 

We do not accept any liability for loss, damage, or injury to you, your horse, personal effects or tack, however caused.

 

We reserve the right in any circumstances to  cancel your booking.  In this event we will either return all money you have paid or will offer an alternative date. We will inform you of such changes as soon as is reasonably possible. A non-returnable deposit of 35% is required to secure your booking, with the balance four weeks before arrival.  If you cancel more than four weeks before arrival, the deposit will be refunded only if we can secure another booking for the date(s).  We therefore strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

 

Arrivals from 15.00 and checking out on day of departure by 10.00.

 

We make every effort to provide a suggested route guide that is clear to follow. Nevertheless we assume you are competent in the use of maps and we do not accept any liability if you fail to find your way. We check the descriptions given in the route guide, but you should bear in mind that there may be changes such as fallen trees, bridleway repairs and temporary blockages. Such events are regrettably beyond our control but we will make every effort to notify you of any changes that come to our attention. We have, unfortunately, no control over the weather and the resulting conditions under foot.

 

We have a ‘no smoking’ policy.
